Bus routes to the course from Eastbourne
Bus Information
From 12:00 hours on Thursday 11 September 2008, until 12:00 hours on Monday 15th September 2008 Beachy Head Road will be closed to traffic between the Beachy Head Pub Car Park and Shooter’s Bottom Layby.
Brighton and Hove Bus Services 12 and 12a will not be turning into Beachy Head Road during this period but will remain on Dukes Drive (B2103) passing Warren Hill and joining the East Dean Road (A259). Buses will not be turning into Gilbert’s Drive during the closure
Passengers will be able to alight at the junction with Beachy Head Road and also at East Dean Garage.
City Sightseeing Services will continue to run to and from Beachy Head Coach Park during their scheduled service which commences at 10:00 hours daily and offers a service every 30 minutes until 16:30 hours. The service commences at Eastbourne Pier with regular pick up points along the seafront.
Beachy Head Pub Car Park is still accessible.
