A fast and flowing hill, starting with a mellow gradient for the push start. A start ramp will increase race entry speed into the hill.
Riders pick up speed as the road drops into a steep drafting straight, then through the flat-out sweepers. Aerodynamics will be crucial at this stage with riders drafting each other to get the first place into the corner complex.
The braking zone is followed by a hard right hander, followed by a shallower left and right will test cornering ability, grip and line choice to the limit, as riders use the full width of the road for maximum speed and overtaking.
Riders cross the finish line just after the corner section.
The road has been resurfaced with race-quality asphalt especially for the event, huge thanks to Norman Kinnish and all at Eastbourne Borough Council!
